Abhishek Roy developed a love for reading and storytelling from an early age. Fascinated by physics, history and mythology, he would often lose himself in stories — some historical, others speculative. At 15, he published his first science-fiction thriller, Father of the Gods, and continued the journey with Land of the Gods and Gods of the Gods, the next two instalments in The Dimension Series, at ages 18 and 22. The books received praise from renowned figures such as Amish Tripathi, Vishal Bhardwaj, Harsha Bhogle and Christopher C. Doyle.
A graduate in Economics and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, Abhishek naturally transitioned into telling stories through data as well. His research work has explored topics across economics, energy and machine learning. He is currently an Associate at Charles River Associates, an economic consulting firm based in Boston. Outside of work, he enjoys gymming, travelling, learning new sports like mixed martial arts and skiing, and playing the flute.
Abhishek’s latest work, The Babel Murders, marks a shift from mythology to the realm of linguistic mystery and psychological suspense. The story blends global conspiracies, language science and human behaviour, reflecting his continued interest in how knowledge, belief and curiosity shape our world.Through his writing, Abhishek hopes to bridge worlds of science and art, past and future, and to inspire thought that moves beyond boundaries.
LANDS OF THE GODS
About the book
It is a race against time. The deadline for siphoning out a massive proportion of the Earth's mass is only hours away. While Mathias is still stuck on Earth, his friend Ram has reached the alternate dimension Asr-Gawa in search of his father. Mathias' mission: to stop the mass transfer, save Earth and reach Asr-Gawa at the same time.
When Ram reaches the Land of the Gods he is shocked to discover a world where weak government, terrible and desperate methods of control and massive resistance movements are creating an upheaval. With danger at every step, he is an alien who has to survive against odds of being discovered.
